Okay...I'm lost now because of the conversation between Hall and Stone is going back and forth.
It must be annoying for Hall to crawl in the tunnel, but I think he use to it.
Finally someone realized that computers has flaws too.
The book say "DAY FIVE" but it feels longer than five days.
I guess all the hard work Hall had to go throw was a complete waste when there was an easier to turn off the bomb.

"...because someone planned it this way, had written out a series of inexorable statements, like a script..."(pg 318)- Simile, Hall believes that everything been planned out since the beginning and compares it to a script because a script is planned out.

Summary
"The decision is out of our hands: Jack Marriott said. I guess things can not go the way it is planned or thought. Like Andromeda Strain, it was thought to be a very dangerous deisease and it is, but it can be eliminated easily. Like Hall and Stone said they still need to understand the disease more and we too should understand more about life.

Sine Wildfire team under estimate Hall, I think Hall might be the one who save the day in the end.
I think the author is giving us hint to always go to the doctor and get check ups.
When there are serious actions such as running, I could imagine myself running with them.
Kalocin must be a powerful drug for it killed viruses such as leukemia.
The has to be the KEY behind everything.

Summary
Hall found out that another man was part of the Andromeda Strain, but committed suicide after taking another with him. More over, things seem to get worst at wildfire because Burton is locked in a lab because he is infected and Leavitt is sick. What could get worse?
