  • Maybe the people in the town heard something outside while they were sleepig and rushed out in their pajamas.
  • When there were cuts on the deads' body they didn't bled, it was as if their blood was frozen.
  • While I was reading, i felt like I was following Burton and Stone around.
  • The story somehow reminds me of a Japanese drama, Bloody Monday, that I finished watching.
  • The president must been stressful while making the decision he made.

  • If the infection is from the satillite then is the government responsible for the deaths?
  • So is there anyone alive in the town still?
  • What is wrong with the dead boy that Stone and Burton found?
  • Would taking the old man and baby from the town be bad?
3 Vocabulary
  • Reentry(pg.83)-Noun.the return from outer space into the earth's atmosphere of an earth-orbiting satellite, spacecraft, rocket, or the like.

2 Literally Devices
  • "The morning sun was still low in the sky; it was cold and cheerless, casting long shadows over the thinly snow crusted ground(pg 78).- Setting, it was describing the setting.
  • "The baby stopped crying for a moment , stuck its finger in its mouth, and looked questioningly up at Burton"(pg. 92)- Foreshadowing, it's focusing on the baby more after Stone says he's a survivor.
Summary
After Stone and Burton lending to the town they made a discover that people of the people of the town instantly dying or committing suicide. Both question why it was happening. As they left the town, they brought along the satellite, a baby, and an old man.
