• Hershey was a smart man to make his own raw materials instead of buying them.
• Hershey Town would be an amazing city people known of because of it's dream like features and how it survived the Great Depression.

• "... that the strikers he saw inside' all acted like gentlemen'"(pg. 213). -Simile, comparing how the strikers act to gentle men.
• "...tide of people spilling into the plant outside"(pg. 217)-Idiom or metaphor saying that people bloods where spilled.

Summary

Hershey continued to make his town big, however people outsides talked of how he is not really a good person. A strike was up roared and Hershey did not do anything, tough in the end it told that Hershey's people are able to decide or having for themselves after the strike. The aftermath of the strike is that the town lost it's purity because of the blood spills.
