The book seems to come to it's climax now for everything is coming together and falling. Blott's house, where all his treasure is, gets burned down by people in the town for the agreed to it. Though now, Finch and Lucy are not in good terms because Finch seems to has a thing for Leonard and Lucy does not like it. Lucy dislike Leonard for some reason and that reason why not be involve with Finch or Lucy.
