  • Everyones ants to be loved by someone even the Dead.
  • Finch would help the Dead when they need it, she is not cold or crazy as people think she is
  • Blott is a strange guy, he is from a wealthy family, but does not act or appreciate his wealth as most would.
  • Finch does has a strange fondness for cats, she even has a cat's tail hanging on her truck that swings back and fort when she drives.
  • The cemetery is similar to a community center for the Dead because they come and shares their stories with one another, they also help one another out.
~4 Questions~
  • Why would Blott's father leaved Blott a huge amount of land, before Blott died, when he knew Blott was a wastes?
  • Had Lucy changed Finch because Finch seems to get along with people around her more after Lucy told her of why people is scared of her?
  • Does Reba has a true intention of acting nice to people because she seems as if she's acting?
  • Is Leonard starting to develop feeling for Finch?

  • "We stand in front of the mirror that way, with me cloaked and and boaed and Leonard hatted and holding my shoulders..." (Page 111)- Foreshadowing that something will happen between them.
  • "....they' re more itchy than fluffy, and matted, like a cat too fat to clean its back"(page 110).-(Simile, comparison between a cloak and a fat cat.

~Summary~

As the novel continue, Finch is beginning to developed a friendship with Leonard and maybe with kids that past by the cemetery. Finch and the Dead learns even more of Blott and his interest in women clothing. However, that led people of the community outside the cemetery to feel disgusted of Blott and ever associating with him. Finch hears that people would be burning down Blott's home because they feel it do not belong there.
